What should I look for when buying used gear underwater?
snorkeler long time and want to finally take the plunge into diving. But I am putting some money and go with scuba gear used instead of buying brand new. You can also get a good agreement by pressing a dive shop that has a diving internally. Many club members regularly offer up gear they no longer need in the shop on consignment. The shop will focus on gear inspection before they place on the shop floor for sale and any repair or maintenance will be made. It is in the interest of this dive shop to do it. They want you to come back. divers dead do not return.
