How do I install my BCD 3000 with Traktor Scratch Pro?
im very new to the 3000 BCD and Traktor Scratch Pro, but I have two and no idea how to configure my BCD Traktor with MS. So I would appreciate someone to give instructions in a simple manner that Im trying very hard to get this setup and execution. I have a basic knowledge of the BCD and tempered with c. tea a bit, but I'm swamped trying to get traktor to respond to the BCD. so any help would be greatly appreciated! cheers.
Help with setting up your BCD3000 from this site i found - http://www.bluearan.co.uk/index.php?id=BEHBCD3000 Here's a guide that explains how to up the configuration to allow a headphone (THE SAME PROCEDURE TO SET UP WELL WITH TRAKTOR BCD) * Install BCD3000 driver (Behringers site has a copy if you do not (see below)), then install Traktor Traktor LE * Start, click Preferences, then click the + next to the audio system, sound card and click OK. Select BCD3000 ASIO sound card. Click OK / Apply, then EXIT Traktor. * Restart Traktor LE, and it will be ready to begin to use the ASIO driver. Click on the Preferences again, and the audio system, this time to change the output routing. * Set the Mixer Mode "Internally" * You must set the output routing as follows: o Monitor: - L o Monitor Output 3: R - Master Output 4 o L - Master output 1 o: R - Release 2 * Entry routing should all be set to "not connected" The above procedure should set up your BCD3000 to use the results of BCD3000 to go to your amp / speakers, and you can plug your headphones in and use the BCD3000 to cue monitoring. then you would obviously use and connect the audio output of the BCD to go to your amp. you can change what Windows uses the sound card too say, rather than use the BCD soundcard usual. in xp go then "Control Panel" in "Sounds and Audio Devices' and then 'Audio' tab Behringers website page Driver http://www.behringer.com/EN/home.aspx: http://www.behringer.com/EN/Support/B-Control-Downloads.aspx needed more help, please contact me on my website (as opposed to yahoo (which I use rarely)): http://www.djboshh.co.uk/ also if you do not like the idea management of your entire system through the sound card of the BCD, then you can just use the sound card in your computer rather than, as it allows at least 4 channels (2 channels for the left and right master output, headphones and 2 for left and right). if your sound card normally has 2 output channels, then its always possible use as 4 by opening your sound card program management and see if you can change the functions for the input / output is say to use the line taken as a rear speaker instead. traktor and then proceed to change the output routing, including the production monitor for Channels 2 & 3, master output channels 0 and 1 on my computer i only on board (Realtek) and the Realtek Audio Manager (accessible from the status bar system (by the clock)) allows me to swap what input / output function as taken. (Many computers use the realtek sound board and you can download the latest audio manager from their website)
