Blue Diffuser
What does a colored flash diffuser do ?
Like I see some that are yellow and blue. Does it give the picture a different effect ?
If you are using tungsten balanced film a flash is too "blue" and putting a yellow filter on makes the flash seem less harsh. And photographers with daylight balanced film can use a blue filter to overpower the yellow of the tungsten lighting.
Although a digital cameras can be colour balanced for any lighting conditions, mixed temperature lighting sources are still a pain.
